You would normally not need to apply Ultracide to tile for fleas as this is not an area of the home where they can thrive since there are not many places for them to hide or leave eggs.  However if you need to spray the tile, you would spray it the same way you would carpet in a sweeping motion just lightly covering the floor and let it dry completely. Any residue left behind that makes the floor slippery should be wiped up with a towel for safety reasons.
