How long after applying Pendulum 2G Granular Herbicide can switchgrass or bluestem be planted? 6-8 weeks after pendulum2g is used as a pre-emergent

Applied Pendulum 2G about 6-8 weeks ago, can I plant the switchgrass and bluestem without the pre emergent affecting the growth?

Answer:

Pendulum 2G Granular Herbicide can only be applied to established landscpe beds with tolerant plants and ornamentals listed on the product label. It is recommended to wait 3 months before seeding or planting any new seed or plants in the treated areas.  The product label does not list bluestem or switch grasses as a tolerant plant or ornamental therefore we cannot guarantee that this application would be safe. It is recommended to test a small area of the not listed plants and observing the plants for 1 to 2 months for possible injury. We also recommend consulting with a Master Gardener in your area for recommendations on what is safe to use.
