I have treated an exterior wall that is infested with drywood termites. I now want to apply BoraCare and wood hardener to the damaged wood and replace missing wood. How long should I wait before applying BoraCare and the hardener?
It can take up to 90 days for an entire termite colony to be eliminated after a treatment with chemicals such as Termidor Foam. Due to the difference between the way the ingredients work to control the colony, you would need to give time for the Termidor to kill the colony before the Boracare is applied. You'd want to wait at least 60-90 days before applying it to the existing wood for protection.
