The maker says to wait a year for all pre emergent apps so the roots can take hold. I didn't wait a year before apply Dimension and other pre emergent. I'm wondering if Specticle has a time frame on when it can be applied to new sod.
The residual of the active ingredient Indaziflam in soil is longer than Dithopyr, the active ingredient in Dimension therefore applying before the recommended 16 months advised time frame could inhibit, slow or damage the growth of the bermuda sod. Since we no longer carry Specticle FLO, we would recommend contacting Bayer directly at 1-866-99-BAYER for your special application question.
