Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass is a slow kill product and can take a few weeks to kill weeds. Though the product label states the following: Control of Spurweed can best be obtained by applying when Spurweed has newly emerged (December and January.). If the spurweed is already established the product will not be very effective at killing it.
