How long does Taurus SC last if sprayed on ground to kill active termite in tree roots? 9 years? I see mixed info

I'm thinking about spraying my entire yard since i have active termite in tree roots.

Answer:

Taurus SC is not labeled to be sprayed on your yard or around trees and can cause environmental damage if used in this off-label way.  Taurus will last a few weeks if sprayed topically on the soil around a structure. If you do a trenching treatment in the soil it can last up to 10 years.  Please see the product label instructions for more information
