I don't have an acre to do, so I plan on using my hand-held sprayer. How many ounces per gallon of water.

Answer:

Per page 12 of the product label:  Use 1.6 qts. (1.6 lbs. ai) of Simazine 4L Herbicide per acre (35.2 ml or 1.2 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.) for control of other weeds. Typically, it takes around a gallon to cover 1,000 sq. ft.
