How much Hi Yield aluminum sulfate w/4 gallons of water?

Answer:

Hi-Yield Aluminum Sulfate states that for shrubs, use 1 lb. per 3 ft. of height. Mix 1 lb. in 5 gallons of water and apply at the drip line of the shrub. For trees, use 1 lb. per inch of diameter. Mix in 5 gallons of water or apply dry at the drip line of the tree and water in thoroughly. 2 cups is approximately 1lb. To get it into 4 gallons, you would need to divide the needed amount by 5 to get & then multiply by 4.
