In this video, we will show you how to load rodent, rat, and/or mouse bait into the B&G Rodent Bait Station Cafe! Remember to always wear gloves or personal protection equipment when handling rodent bait.
To load bait into the B&G Rodent Bait Station Cafe, first open the station with the key.
The station has two ways that bait blocks can be loaded. The first way is to use vertical rods. Up to four rods can be used at a time. Insert the rods into their designated locations. Then slide the bait blocks of your choice into place. Make sure to always wear gloves when handling rodent bait. Vertical rods should be used if temperatures will be very hot because bait might melt. As it melts, it puddles around the rod. As temperatures cool, it will resolidify around the rod.
The second way is to use horizontal rods. Up to two rods can be used at a time. Load each rod with the bait block of your choice. Slide the rods into the designated slots located on the inside of the station. Once the bait has been loaded, secure the lid back into place. We recommend horizontal baiting when bait stations will be placed in areas where water might get inside. The horizontal rods will hold the bait up off the floor of the station and help keep it dry.
