Howard Johnson's Eagle 0.39% Fungicide is aprotective and curative granular systemic fungicide for many turfgrass diseases, including dollar spot, powdery mildew, red thread, anthracnose, and take-all patch.
Howard Johnson's Eagle 0.39% Specialty Fungicide offers effective control over a wide range of fungal lawn diseases including common problems like Dollar Spot, Powdery Mildew, and Anthracnose.
Containing the active ingredient myclobutanil, this granular formulation of Eagle fungicide offers systemic protection against lawn diseases on established turfs including lawns, golf course fairways, roughs, tees, and greens, and in sod farms and ornamental turfs. As a systemic treatment, Eagle fungicide is absorbed through the entire plant, from the roots up, for total coverage.
Before beginning your application, calibrate your spreader according to the manufacturer's instructions to match the recommended application rate.
Always wear the appropriate PPE when mixing or applying any fungicide product. This should include long-sleeved shirts and long pants, closed-toe shoes, and protective gloves.
After determining the application rate needed for the turf you'll be treating, fill a drop- or rotary-type spreader with the granular product and prepare to apply.
In most cases, Howard Johnson's Eagle 0.39% Specialty Fungicide will be used at a rate of 4 to 8 pounds per 1000 square feet of turf to be treated. For preventative residential applications, you will apply 4 pounds per 1000 square feet of turf. Non-residential applications can use the higher rate of up to 8 pounds per 1000 square feet to be treated.
High-rate, curative applications with shorter intervals in between are also recommended in cases where existing lawn disease pressure is high.
At the 4 pound per square foot rate, a 30-pound bag of Eagle Fungicide offers coverage of 7500 square feet of turf.
Apply the product by walking the length of your lawn with the spreader, working in even rows to ensure total coverage. You may also see improved coverage by spreading half of the product in one direction, then spreading the other half in rows that run perpendicular to the first set.
The uniform particle size of Eagle 0.39% Fungicide helps to maximize even distribution during spread--that means a more consistent application and fewer missed spots.
Sweep any granules that land on paved areas back onto the lawn.
Howard Johnson's Eagle 0.39% Specialty Fungicide is a Group 3 product. Rotate use with a non-Group 3 product to avoid resistance build-up.
Water Eagle Fungicide in lightly to avoid pick-up of granules after you've finished the application, and always read the label in full to ensure a safe and effective treatment that works every time.
