In order to answer your question, we would need to know where you are applying the product and what are the weeds that you are trying to control. Hyvar X-L IVM Herbicide is intended for larger scale applications with mix rates listed as gallons/per acre.
Please refer to the product label for the weeds you are targeting and the application rates recommended in order to break down into smaller volume applications.
PLEASE NOTE: HYVAR X-L IVM Herbicide is no longer available.
The application rates for Hyvar X-L IVM Herbicide are given in per acre measurments and vary between ¾ gallon/acre to 12 gallons/acre as this product is intended for large scale coverage applications. If treating a smaller size area using a handpump sprayer, this will require breaking down the “per acre” rate into 1000 sq ft.
Refer the Weed Controlled starting on page 5 of the product label to find the rate/acre for what weeds being targeting.
Example: Product label rate is 4 gallons/acre (512 fl oz).
