Hyvar X-L IVM Herbicide is a professionally formulated nonselective herbicide that provides broad-spectrum control of grasses and weeds on industrial and non-crop sites. Effectively and efficiently controls weeds and grasses such as cheatgrass, lambsquarters, turkey mullein, dandelion, plantain, wild carrot, sweetgum, sumac, pines, downy brome, puncturevine, wild oats, and other listed weeds and grasses on the label. This product is highly recommended to be applied prior to when weeds are actively germinating. Rainfall application is deeply required to activate the Hyvar X-L IVM Herbicide. Application rates given on the label are advised to be followed for superior efficacy and effectivity of the control power of this product. Available in a 1-gallon jug.
USE RESTRICTIONS - STATE OF FLORIDA In the state of Florida the use of Hyvar X-L IVM Herbicide (bromacil) is prohibited in the counties of Hardee, Highland, Polk, Orange and Lake. For Non-Agricultural Usage in all other areas of the state, do not apply more than 3.2 gallons per acre per year of Hyvar X-L IVM Herbicide. This amount corresponds to 6.4 pounds of bromacil, the active ingredient in Hyvar X-L IVM Herbicide. The maximum allowable use rate for bromacil is 6.4 pounds per acre per year inclusive of all bromacil formulations

In order to answer your question, we would need to know where you are applying the product and what are the weeds that you are trying to control. Hyvar X-L IVM Herbicide is intended for larger scale applications with mix rates listed as gallons/per acre.
Please refer to the product label for the weeds you are targeting and the application rates recommended in order to break down into smaller volume applications.
