Reggie from Benton Louisana writes

If Contrac All-Weather Blox Rodenticide gets wet, do the blocks put off a dangerous gas if being used in a confined room? Would it be harmful to breath for humans?

Answer:

Contrac is a block rodenticide that does not release any vapors, even when wet. We do want to advise that we do not recommend baiting for rodents indoors and would suggest using snaptraps or glueboards.  Rodenticides should always be used in tamper resistant bait stations to secure the rodent bait and protect the bait from weather elements as well as non target animals and children. Bait stations should be placed against the foundation of the home every 10-15 ft.  Please view our Rodent Treatment Guide and our Rodent Baiting Article for more information.
