If leather snowboots were slightly sprayed with Temprid FX while doing a bed bug treatment in my home, do I need to throw them out or will they be okay for next winter?

I have thick leather snow boots, I slightly sprayed the bottom of both boots when spraying for bedbugs. If I leave the boots unworn until next winter will the pesticide ever come out? They are expensive boots, it would be devastating to throw them away

Answer:

Temprid FX Insecticide that has been accidentially sprayed to boots, shoes or other non target clothing items should be wiped and clean with an approved cleaner for that item. Per the product label, any contaminted clothing should be removed immediately and washed before reusing or wearing again.
