Application timing of Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide is going to vary depending on the types of weeds you are trying to control per the product label and it may take more than one application. It would need to be applied when the weeds are growing not before as it will only kill the weeds it makes contact with that have emerged. We do not know the exact time of year you will start applying Q4 in Ohio. Weeds grow at different times in different regions and there is no way for us to know down to the exact week. Please refer to the product label for complete instructions based on whether you are treating for grassy weeds or broadleaf weeds. If you are not sure when the weeds start to actively grow in your region you can contact the master gardener at your local cooperative extension office for more information. A.
