A pre-emergent application in the fall generally will not last until spring, especially if you live in an area with a hearty winter. Scotts Halts Crangrass and Grassy Weed Preventer was discontinued by the manufacturer, but we have many other excellent pre-emergents. We suggest Pendulum 2G for fall application and Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension for spring application in most turfgrasses and areas.
