    Is CimeXa Dust the strongest powder I can get to treat fleas in carpet?
    A

    For fleas in carpeting, we would recommend our Indoor Flea and Tick Kit, which contains CimeXa Insecticide Dust as well as NyGuard Plus Insecticide, IGR, and deodorizer. CimeXa Dust may be worked into carpeting for long-term treatment, while the NyGuard Plus should be applied as a broadcast over carpets and other flooring. Be sure to vacuum thoroughly before treatment and every day or every other day after treatment. Treatments should be repeated after 14 days.     How toxic is the Indoor Flea and Tick Kit?
    We have no pets, but have seen what seem to be fleas (they jump) in the bedroom and have nocturnal bites mainly on the ankles.
    A

    All products carry some level of toxicity but when used as directed the products in the Indoor Flea and Tick Kit are safe to use.  People should be out of the area during treatment until dry.  Here is a great video on how to use our Indoor Kit.

    How many sq ft will 4oz bottle of CimeXa insecticide dust treat?
    My treatment square footage is about 800 to 1000 sq ft.

    Each bottle of Cimexa Dust will treat 200 square feet. Remember that only a light coating of dust is needed when applying this product.

    I have all wood floors and a serious flea problem. What products should I use?
    A

    The Indoor Flea and Tick Kit is a great option for use in your home. When using the Nyguard Plus, be sure to treat the cracks and crevices between the hardwood every 10-14 days until you no longer have activity. If you are able to vacuum, be sure to do so between treatments. Please take a look at our Flea Guide for tips on how to treat and prevent fleas.

    Is Nyguard Plus safe on top of a mattress?
    I have a flea issue. I brought them home from camping. I need to know if Nyguard is safe to spray on a mattress?

    Does the Indoor Flea and Tick Kit work as well as Precor 2000?
    A

    Yes, the NyGuard Plus in the Infoor Flea and Tick Kit works just as well as the Precor 2000. It also contains an IGR and the flea treatment would be pretty much the same way. NyGuard Plus also contains a deodorizer to help eliminate pet odors during treatment. Please see our Flea Treatment Guide for more information.

    Can the Indoor Flea and Tick Kit be used directly on a mattress?

    The NyGuard Plus in the Indoor Flea and Tick Kit is labeled to be applied to the mattress. You will wash and dry linens in heat to eradicate any present fleas and allow product to completely dry prior to making the bed.     What products can be used to kill ticks and their eggs?
    Our pest service told us 3 months ago that what we thought was a tick was a harmless bug, and now we have a big tick problem. Please help and tell me what will work to get rid of these buggers!

    Using the NyGuard Plus and Cimexa Dust combination that is in the Indoor Flea and Tick Kit will treat all stages of fleas and ticks. NyGuard Plus kills all stages of ticks quickly and provides residual control of ticks and fleas. The formulation is a combination of a pyrethroid, the insect growth regulator (IGR) NyGuard, and a synergist. CimeXa Dust may be worked into carpeting for long-term treatment. We also carry an Outdoor/Indoor Fleas and Tick Kit that contains the products discussed above along with products to help prevent and treat infestations of fleas and ticks outdoors. Cyzmic CS, insecticide in the kit, is a versatile insecticide concentrate with two active ingredients, providing both a quick initial kill and long-term residual control of adult fleas and ticks. Archer Insect Growth Regulator prohibits the development of immature stages of fleas and ticks, effectively interrupting the breeding cycle of target insects.

    Will the Indoor Flea and Tick Kit product also kill tick eggs?
    My dog receives a monthly flea & tick treatment however, he seems to be carrying ticks into our home, and we've been finding them in our carpet. If females laid eggs, would this treatment kill the eggs as well?

    What are the ingredients and % of the Indoor Flea Kit?

    The Indoor Flea Kit includes PT Alpine Flea and Bed Bug Aerosol, which contains 25 % Dinotefuran, .10% Pyriproxyfen, and .05% Prallethrin, as well as CimeXa Insecticide Dust, which contains 100% Amorphous Silica Gel.

    Why the switch from NyGuard Plus to PT Alpine in the Indoor Flea and Tick Kit?
    I noticed in the comments, this kit used to include NyGuard Plus - and now it uses PT Alpine? Why? One HUGE advantage I see of NyGuard Plus is it works for 7 months - so it seems like it doesn't require as much work or reapplication as PT Alpine. Also - why not the Precor aerosols? Looking for an indoor solution primarily on CARPET and it seems these are the choices. NyGuard Plus looks to be the only one that lasts a long time though. I assume all of these aerosols can also be used on hardwood (getting between the planks) and cracks/crevices and baseboards.

    The Indoor Flea and Tick Kit no longer has the NyGuard Plus in it because we do not have any stock of the NyGuard Plus. The PT Alpine is readily available and works the same as the NyGuard Plus. We didn't go with the Precor because of size and price. The PT Alpine is the closest to the NyGuard we could get. All the aerosols can be used on both carpet and hardwood but we do recommend spraying it in a nonconspicuous location first to be sure it doesn't stain.

    Is the Indoor Flea and Tick Kit safe around cats and dogs?
    I have both, which will be difficult to remove while I treat.

    Indoor Flea and Tick Kit is safe for pets once dry. It's crucial that pets are not in the room while you're treating and only return once dry. We recommend maybe doing one room at a time, and putting the pets in a different room in the meantime.

    The Indoor Flea and Tick Kit comes with 2 x 14 oz PT Alpine Flea and Bedbug Aerosols and a 4 oz bottle of Cimexa Dust. 

    Each 14 oz PT Alpine Flea and Bedbug Aerosol will treat up to 2,625 sq. ft and the 4 oz bottle of Cimexa Dust will cover approx 200 sq ft.
