I see in the description it says Bifen IT is a repellent insecticide. I thought it was best to use a non-repellent for silverfish indoors, since I want the silverfish to run through the residual poison left behind after product dries. Will the silverfish just run away from the areas I treated with Bifen to another part of my house?
Although Bifen IT is considered a repellent insecticide, it is not a true repellent in that it “repels” insects away. Insects will still be able to contact the treated surfaces and eventually die from through contact of the active ingredient. Bifen IT is included in our Silverfish Kit that you can view HERE. If wanting a non repellent insecticide, Temprid FX is a dual mode of action inseciticide using 2 active ingredients, one providing a fast kill and then a non repellent residual to go undetected as insects cross the treated areas.
