You can use a product like D-Fense SC. It’s a synthetic pyrethroid that can be reapplied on a monthly basis. You can use it at a rate of 0.75 – 1 oz per gallon of water for mosquito control. When treating for mosquitoes, make sure to spray the underside of the leaves on ornamental shrubs and trees as these are areas they harbor in. Keep in mind that one treatment will not get rid of all the mosquitoes. For high activity, we recommend adding an insect growth regulator, like Tekko Pro IGR, to disrupt their life cycle and keep juveniles from becoming reproductive adults.
