I recently had fogging done in my bedroom and the furniture was left I the room. My pest guy didn't seem concerned about the furniture being in there while he treated the area. However, after a few hours my husband and I noticed that our dressers and computer keyboard, television, and side tables were very oily. I wiped everything down, but had some concerns about my mattress. Is it okay to replace clothes back into the dressser drawers, and lay on our bed now after it being mad back up? We are concerned about contaminating other things, or is it safe once we have waited approximately 4 hours before going into the bedroom?
The ULD BP-100 Fogging Concentrate label advises : Some furniture finishes, particularly plastics, can be damaged by petroleum based insecticides. To avoid damage, cover those items and do not spray directly. If in doubt, test by applying this material to an inconspicuous area before spraying. We recommend thoroughly wiping all furniture down including inside drawers and washing clothing, bedding, etc the product may have come in contact with. Steaming the mattress would help remove any residue left behind. Please contact the manufacturer Whitmire Micro-Gen at 800-777-8570
