I live in the country and have had problems with Bermuda grass in my gravel driveway. I have been having to spray with Roundup once every 2 weeks to prevent it from being taken over. Is this the best option? If I do use TVC I intend to borrow my parents sprayer that is normally used around flower beds. If washed out well can the sprayer still be used in and around flower beds after being used to spray TVC?
Yes, you can use the same sprayer that has been used around flower beds as long as it is thoroughly cleaned and flushed with warm water and a cleaning agent. We recommend doing this a couple times to ensure that all the remaining product has been thoroughly cleaned out. Using a tank cleaner such as Spray Tank Cleaner & Neutralizer is a great way to ensure there is no residue left behind. You can also choose to use a dedicated sprayer for non-selective herbicides to reduce the risk of damaging desirable plants.
