Japanese beetle season is close. I have flowering trees and bushes that are affected by them... a flowering plum that last year was ravaged by them. Is this the spray of choice? What are the hazards? Have a dog and child but the trees and shrubs are not in their area.
Permethrin SFR is a great choice for Japanese Beetle control. Be sure to use it at the highest concentration, avoiding the blooms if possible (may cause browing). Permethrin SFR may need to be applied once per month to avoid Japanese beetle damage. Pets and children need to be out of the area while the application is being done and they may return as soon as the application is dry. The Permethrin SFR product label and MSDS are available on our site for further product information.
