Is Pro-Pell Rodent Repellent safe if pets are on the property?

I have a mouse problem in my country house, but I also have a pet cat on the premises.

Answer:

Pro-Pell Rodent Repellent is made of essential oils and while considered safe once dry, this is a very oil product that is difficult to remove to surfaces such as vinyl, plastic, aluminum, brick, stone, stucco, decks, etc. You would want to apply to areas where cats/dogs would not be able to lick the surfaces applied.  Exclusion is always the first approach to getting rodents to stop getting inside. If rodents are found indoors, a combination approach is recommended using snaptraps/glueboards indoors and then baiting for rodents in tamper resistant bait stations around the exterior foundation of the home. Please view our Rodent Treatment Guide that goes over how to Inspect, Treat and Prevent rodents.
