Our Carpet Beetle Control Kit is a great choice for dealing with this pest. You will want to remove animals from any area where you are going to apply pesticides until the application is completely dry. Since carpet beetles will feed on the keratin in animal and human byproducts, you will need to vacuum all surfaces that may have fur, dander, dust, etc. to remove those sources. Steaming is a great way to disinfect surfaces and to kill insects on contact; just be sure you do that treatment before using a spray like the NyGuard Plus.
