Is the Milky Spore Lawn Spreader Mix okay to use before solarization treatment (plastic laid over the ground during the heat of summer)?

I'm planning to expand my garden and want to start this year for planting next year. I've fed hundreds of grubs to my chickens. Now I'm overwhelmed with Japanese beetle damage.

Answer:

Milky Spore Lawn Spreader Mix can be applied before laying the plastic down if you water it in before doing so.  Keep in mind, however, that the  Lawn Spreader Mix needs to be applied 6 times over the course of 2 years in order to get the full residual of 15-20 years, so you will need to remove the plastic each time in order to reapply.
