Alligare Triclopyr 4 and Hi-Yield Turflon Ester Ultra both contain the active ingredient of Triclopyr 61.6% and treat for majority of the same weeds. The main differences will be where they can be approved application sites.
Hi-Yield Turflon Ester Ultra is labeled to be used Perennial Cool Season grasses, Bluegrass, Ryegrass, or Tall Fescue (including sod farms, commercial turf, and golf courses). As surfactant is ONLY recommended when treating brush, vines, or woody weeds. DO NOT use a surfactant when treating lawns. Please view the product label HERE for more information.
Alligare Triclopyr 4 would be suggested for treating unwanted woody plants and annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in non residential areas such as forests, on permanent grass pastures, rangelands, conservation reservation programs, non-crop areas including industrial manufacturing and storage sites, fence rows, right-ot-ways, non-irrigation ditch banks, around farm houses.
Application sites for Alligare Triclopyr also include perennial cool season grasses, bluegrass, ryegrass and tall fescue ornamental turf (including sod farms, commercial turf, and golf courses). Please view the product label HERE for more information.
