Answer:

Nufarm Polaris Herbicide contains Imazapyr, which is a soil sterilant.  It can be used for pre and post-emergent control where bare ground is desired, and a surfactant is recommended for post-emergent applications per the product label.  Rainfall or irrigation of 1 inch will provide uniform incorporation.
