Is this safe for indoor cats?

Answer:

The products included in the Carpet Beetle Control Kit are pet safe, if used as directed.  Pets and people should be removed from the area when applying the products, and once the treated areas have completely dried, it is then safe for pets and people to re-enter those areas.  You can refer to application instructions for this kit below, and by following the link provided above.

How to Use Your DoMyOwn Carpet Beetle Kit*Refer to our Carpet Beetle Guide for more information on treatment and carpet beetle prevention Before Your Treat, VacuumBefore you apply any product, vacuum the rugs and carpets in your home. Vacuuming can remove carpet beetles and their eggs, leaving less pests to treat.Immediately after vacuuming, dispose of the vacuum bag into outside trash. If your vacuum does not have a bag, dump the dust, hair, and dirt from the vacuum into a trash bag and immediately place the bag in an outdoor trash canStep 1 - Apply NyGuard PlusShake the can of NyGuard Plus, then apply in a sweeping motion in the rooms where carpet beetles (both larvae and adults) have been found, including:-Carpets-Rugs-Baseboards-Closets-Around the edges of carpets-On upholstered furnitureNyGuard Plus will not stain water-safe surfaces, but if you worry about staining, spot test a hidden area of the furniture or rug first. You should see a mist emitting from the can. If you instead see a pin-stream spray, shake the can again. If you do forget to shake the can, wipe the tip first before shaking and spraying again.Be sure to wear gloves and long sleeves when applying NyGuard Plus or any insecticide/adulticide around your home. Do not let children or pets into treated rooms until the solution has dried (about 1-2 hours). Step 2 - Apply CimeXa Insecticide DustTo apply insecticide dust, remove the black tip off the CimeXa bottle, cut the tip of the bottle, then squeeze the bottle to apply puffs of dust.Apply dust to the following areas:-Inside wall voids-Where the carpet meets the baseboard-Where the baseboard meets the wall-Inside electrical outlets-Attics and crawlspaces-Where pipes meet walls, such as beneath sinks(Optional) If you are using a bellow hand duster (sold separately) to apply your dust, fill the duster halfway with dust, then replace the lid. Turn the duster upside down (so that the lid faces the floor) and apply 1-2 puffs of dust at a time to the areas listed aboveStep 3 - Monitor Your Infestation with Catchmaster 100i Insect MonitorsPlace glue board insect monitors in the corners of rooms, under furniture legs, in closets, and anywhere carpet beetles have been spotted. After you treat, you should see a decrease in the number of carpet beetles (adult and larvae) you find on the glue boards. If you still see activity after 30 days, repeat step 1 above.Continue to vacuum daily after treatment, throwing trash bags directly outside.
