Jon from Camden, Ohio writes

Is TurfGrassPro 0-0-29 a suitable potassium fertilizer for trees?

Soil and tissue testing indicate I need to augment potassium levels in some mature yard trees. Can I safely use this product as a soil drench over the root zone, and how should I dilute the product for that purpose?

Answer:

TurfGrassPro 0-0-29 should not harm trees at all, but since this is only labeled for turfgrass, we wouldn't be able to advise correct use rates for trees. We recommend contacting the the manufacturer at 800-352-3870 to get rates for trees.
