It's been more than two weeks since I applied Taurus SC for carpenter ants and I am still seeing activity, can I reapply?

It's been more than two weeks since I applied Taurus SC for carpenter ants I still see ants can I apply again? I'm seeing a bunch of carcasses of carpenter ants in my garage. However, I am seeing live Swarmers as well as regular carpenter ants walking around my garage as well as in a couple rooms in my house. Should I spray again?

Answer:

Taurus SC Termiticide is a non repellent insecticide which allows the carpenter ants to cross the treated areas undetected and transfer the active ingredient fipronil throughout the colony. Non repellents are not fast acting or knockdown insecticides however have the best transfer effect with social insects like Carpenter Ants.  Keep in mind, it can take up to 90 days to see full results from using Taurus, especially if the colony is large. You cannot reapply Taurus after only 2 weeks from the initial treatment. Depending on what usage rate you used, you likely will need to wait 6 months before using it again.  View the full product label for more information.
