I used all of the kit- the bait gel in the kitchen, baths, and laundry, the Demon WP all along the outside of the house and doorways/windows, and put out all IGRs. I am still seeing 1-2 roaches daily in random places that seem to be healthy. Occasionally I see a dead one here or there, but not as often as the live ones. What can I do?
Roach infestations do not build up in a short period of time and they do not usually go away in a short period of time. Roach infestations can take several months to get rid of, though most folks see the infestation dramatically decline within the first couple weeks of treating. This is usually followed by a reappearance of the smaller roach nymphs (baby roaches). All of this is completely normal and expected. Some homes do require repeat applications of roach bait and insecticide sprays every two to four weeks to get rid of the remaining roaches. A barrier insecticide spray application around the exterior of the home will help stop new roaches from moving in. Indoor and outdoor sanitation is key to eliminating roaches. Be sure the trash is taken out every night and that all of the counters and floors are kept crumb free. Dry sinks and keep tooth brushes and sponges inside of plastic bags to eliminate sources for moisture. Outdoors, move trash cans and yard debris (leaf piles, mulch, wood piles) away from your home. Seal up as many cracks, gaps or holes on the exterior of your home to prevent roaches from entering. All of these steps will help you get rid of the roaches for good. http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/roaches-c-2.html
