    Gigantic bait blocks

    By Bob on 11/19/2015

I just received my first order of these blocks so I can't yet rate their attractiveness or effectiveness but I can rate the ridiculous big size of the blocks. There are 3 sections per block with narrowed waists between them - only the middle section has a hole thru it. And the instructions say break the blocks into 3 pieces! Why not just make smaller blocks with a hole thru each? Ridiculous!

    Very slow poison

    By Andrew on 01/01/2021

I have this bait out now for 14 days and every night they are eating 4 blocks. I understand the need for this to be a slow poison but it is concerning to me that the poison content may have been reduced. I hope I am wrong. I will be back to amend my review if I see success.

    Did not work for me

    By True on 11/16/2021

The rats ate the crap out of these things but never went away, been putting out baits everyday for 7 days and still plenty of rats come back to eat more everyday. Idk if it's even working. Just a waste of my money. Will continue to put more out but at this rate, I don't think this is slowing them down one bit

We are sorry to hear if the product did not work as expected. When dealing with rats you do need to be sure that baits are always used in tamper resistant bait stations to prevent hording/non target animals getting to the bait and consuming or taking. Rats are known to just carry blox off if left out in the open and not eat for several weeks or more. We have some guides here that can help as well https://www.domyown.com/how-to-get-rid-of-rats-a-525.html https://www.domyown.com/rat-prevention-guide-a-526.html

    Doesn't Work

    By Jafeden on 05/08/2022

I bought these bait blocks a few months ago. I left several in my garage and one in my pantry of my house. I see the baits eaten in the garage and then I replace them once a week. Still have not stopped replacing them. Today I saw a mouse in the pantry with the bait block already partially eaten. Obviously, nothing has stopped or slowed down.

    Mice with PHD

    By Leslie on 08/06/2020

    Verified Purchase

So disappointed, as of today 08-06-20. The bait is still in same spot not a piece missing. Although I have not seen a mouse, this maybe a result of my cat. Or maybe I just have very intelligent mice. Do not waste your money.

    Not good with moisture

    By Curtos on 02/09/2024

Not good for outside, The least bit of moisture and it will deteriorates or dissolve completely making it hard to tell if it’s been eat or just got wet. Will not use again.

Well, they seem to like it

    By Jeff on 12/03/2024

Have been using this stuff for a couple of weeks now. Last night, they ate 4 complete blocks so the mice certainly seem to enjoy the flavor. What I haven't seen? Any dead mice or any reduction in the level of activity, in fact, the more I put out, the more mice seem to show up so it seems, ironically to attract more mice. I would classify this stuff, at least in my case as a resounding waste of money.

    Expert Response  Expert response:
Bait is designed to mimic food that is naturally appealing to them, which can lead to the misconception that placing bait out will actively "lure" more rodents into an area, even if they weren't already present; however, the primary reason rodents are attracted to bait is because they are actively searching for food sources, and the bait simply provides a readily available option.

Rats haven't touched these bait blocks

    By Josh on 12/08/2024

I have completely blocked off alternate food sources and have been baiting with these bait blocks for 6 months they have never even touched these even with changing out for fresh bait. I still see evidence of rats trying to dig aroubd parimeter of run where bait staitions are located, but I dug down and poured concrete around chicken run. I would not recommend this specific product.

    Expert Response  Expert response:
If there is chickens in the area, it can become quite difficult to get rid of all alternate food resources. It is very important to wear gloves when putting out bait. If you were previously using abother bait, seeing food aversions is possible.
