The JT Eaton JAWZ Rat Depot Trap Cover is a special rat trap cover made to conceal traps and captured rodents from view effectively. It also reduces the chance of non-target animals triggering the traps, protecting pets and children. Can be reused as desired or disposed of with captured rodents. Targets rats, mice, and even chipmunks. Recommended for use with the JT Eaton JAWZ Rat and Chipmunk Trap but also may be used with other snap traps of similar size (traps sold separately).

The JT Eaton JAWZ traps are a good way to catch rats in places where you want to avoid harming or trapping other small animals such as squirrels and birds. When I ordered, I didn't realize the outside cover is sold separately from the inside trap. I'm not sure why they're sold separately since the cover is designed specifically for the JT Eaton JAWZ trap. Would be nice if that was made more clear on the ordering page.
