This is a poison laced rice that gophers can consume easily. You must identify the gopher's mound, carefully dig down until you locate the path, put approx 3 healthy spoonfulls into the open hole and then carefully replace the dirt without disturbing the bait. I have used this product for several years now and eliminated hundreds of gophers with it. It is the best on the market! I know because I have tried them all!

I have an ongoing problem with pocket gophers, voles and field mice. I wipe them out and a few months later they start migrating back from the other sides of my property. They even reinvade using old tunnel networks. Kaput-D works and when you get the 50 lb. bulk bags it is the cheapest cure. The injector T handle is a must. I very rarely see any dead critters above ground. My yard is 15 acres and I am prepared with my 4th bulk bag form DMOPC.com for next season.

This is the first thing I have found to help control gophers. I tested an area last fall to see if it worked. It did! I was very pleased and will be using it again as soon as the snow is gone!

Took care of gophers a few days after application. The bait are small seeds which makes it easy to drop into borrows through a small hole and with a funnel (I made one with paper)

I have used this product with good results over the past 4 yrs. I could't find the other supplier when I ran out of bait last fall. I missed early spring treatment of my 15 acre yard. I planted 13 big spruce and pine trees this spring and lost 4 of the blue spruce to gophers and ground squirrels undercutting the root balls. A sad pain to loose 7 ft. trees and a big money loss too. Mos of the other suppliers were selling small buckets of Kaput-D at a big price. I liked the DMOPC site which gave good info. I'm hitting those dirty rats hard with this bait and expect results to show soon. Just a few leftover rodents can cause heck on a yard quickly. And the gophers and ground squirrels can migrate 200-300 meters in a few months.

This product WORKS,... If applied correctly! I see some less-than-5 star reviews, but they either didn't know how to put it in the holes/tunnels, or were using it for other animals!!!

I have 9 acres, and if you apply the Kaput correctly, it kills the gophers... PERIOD! The only negative reviews are from someone giving them a 1 star because it didn't kill groundhogs! It may also not kill warthogs dude!!! If you don't find the right tunnel, and install at the right depth, and not cover with dirt--- It won't work!! So don't give a 1-star, or 3-star, on any product-

I have used Kaput for about 4 years. It has been a yard-saver! I have a big yard and those gophers thought they could take over because I was a woman, I guess, but then Kaput! It saved my yard from being taken over from those pesky, determined gophers! I am very thankful for the well named Kaput!

I have used this product for several years now and I have the gophers under control. It always works for me in either a hand applicator or a gopher plow.

I am not sure if this is intended from very small rodents. I used it for groundhogs. First off, they were not impressed by the taste so it was consumed over at least a week or two (I used three lbs per hole). The results were not impressive. All groundhogs survived and the bait was ineffective. Considering the cost of this product it is a total waste of money.

Not happy with the results I've been getting from kaput it's been almost a year now since using and it seems like the gophers are populating more on my return. I have used rozol gopher bait in the past and excellent results always. I will be trying the Wilco gopher bait next order

I'll have to give only 3 stars as I have applied Kaput through-out my yard loading both the tunnels and, when I can locate, the "den." I have applied with a Gopher probe (needed) multiple times and still see new mounds just a foot or so from where I applied. I've read it takes a couple of weeks to work, I believe I've applied about 10 days ago. We shall see. I have been researching other poison however living in California choices are limited due to restrictions. If I see better results I will update.

I was a bit reluctant in purchasing this wheat base poison, but learning how to find these nasty little critters' main passageways and putting this product in the right place, makes it very effective!

This product IS effective, but it seems to take 2-3 cups per infected (4-5 sq ft) area for the product to work.

Haven't had much luck with baits from local stores so decided to give this a try since our gopher problem has become worse. Sum it up; haven't seen any gophers after baiting the holes a week ago.
