    Q
After applying Killzall Weed and Grass Killer, is a sod cutter required or is raking the dead grass in piles sufficient?
    A

Killzall Weed and Grass Killer - 41% Glyphosate kills only actively growing weeds and grasses and does not leave a residual in the soil. Therefore any seeds in the soil that have not germinated, would still be able to grow. To ensure there is no regermination or future growth, we would recommend removing the top layer of soil with a sod cutter or shovel if no regrowth is desired.

    Q
I have applied Killzall 3 times in 1 week and the weeds don't seem to be dying. What should I do?
    A

Killzall Weed and Grass Killer - 41% Glyphosate can take up to 2 weeks to completely kill weeds and applying it more often or higher than the labeled rate does not make it work faster or better.  In fact, this can actually stress the weeds, making them less likely to absorb the product and die from it.  It does only kill the weeds it is directly sprayed onto and does not prevent anything new from growing in the area.  The rate used sound to be way to much for such a small area, the highest rate you should use is 2 ½ oz per gallon of water to treat 300 sqft per the product label.  At this time we would advise to wait at least 2 weeks from last application and try reapplying ad the labeled rate.  Be sure weeds are actively growing and healthy and are not heat or drought stressed for best results.

    Q
Will Killzall Weed and Grass Killer kill bambo?
    A

Killzall Weed and Grass Killer ? is not labeled? for bamboo.  That does not mean that it may not kill it, just that the manufacturer either didn't test it on it or did and it was not very effective on it.  Unfortunately, bamboo is very difficult to treat and kill completely.  We do have the NuFarm Polaris Herbicide which is labeled for Japanese bamboo that might work for you.

  • Asked by Samie from Slidell La
    05/16/2018
    Q
Is Killzall more effective if applied undiluted?
He sprayed it. How long should it take until it all grows back.
    A

Killzall Weed and Grass Killer is a non selective herbicide, meaning it will kill whatever it comes in contact with weeds, grass, vines, etc.  Applying it undiluted would be an off label use and could be very harmful to the areas its applied in that manner.  Always follow the labeled instructions.  If applied undiluted the residual in the soil is going to be longer than if applied correctly.  It will remain in the soil for at least a month or so if applied undiluted.  If this was done in your yard you will need to reseed to have anything grow back.
