Koppert Aphipar 100 ml (2602) is an exceptional product that's specially designed to help control aphids effectively. It contains mummies that's mixed with wood-chips and it hatches parasitic wasp Aphidius colemani which specifically targets tobacco aphid (Myzus persicae var. nicotianae), cotton aphid (Aphis gossypii), and the peach potato aphid (Myzus persicae persicae). It works by stinging its aphid victim and laying eggs inside it. After a couple of days, the parasitized aphid will start to swell and turns into a leathery, grey or brown mummy. Inside it, a new parasitic wasp will emerge to lay more eggs and continue the cycle. The initial mummies will be visible in the crop approximately after 2 weeks from introduction. This is ideal to use as soon as aphid infestation begins to develop. It's very easy to use, simply divide it into 5 or 5 piles away from ants, and spread it on rockwool slabs or in application boxes. It must be applied at a minimum of one pupa per 2 sq. ft. This comes in either a 100 or 500 ml bottle which contains either 1,000 or 5,000 Aphidius colemani pupae (parasitic wasps). Disregard size and content on the picture as it is only used as a reference.
