    The directions say product can be used around plants, but nothing about vegetables, specifically tomatoes.

    This product cannot be used around edibles but can be placed 4-5 feet away from the vegetable garden as a barrier.

    How is Liquid Fence Granular Deer & Rabbit Repellent applied?
    A

    Liquid Fence Granular Deer & Rabbit Repellent should be applied by sprinkling the granules around the desired area. Treatments should be reapplied every three to four weeks and after excessive rainfall.

    Will Liquid Fence Granular Deer & Rabbit Repellent hurt grass?
    We have a rabbit issue in back yard and a dog that thinks they are chew toys. Will this work around such a large area boarding the fence and will it hurt the grass.

    Liquid Fence Granular Deer and Rabbit Repellent is safe to use on low growing plants, including turfgrass. You can use this product along a fenceline, just be sure you are making a barrier that is keeping the nuisance animals out rather than blocking them in.

    If I water my newly planted hosta every day, will I have to reapply the Liquid Fence repellent more often?

    Yes, if you were to water the areas that you treated with Liquid Fence Granular Deer & Rabbit Repellent every day it would be as if it rained daily and the repellent would wear off much more rapidly.

    Is Liquid Fence Granular Deer & Rabbit Repellent safe to use around racoons, possums, armadillos, squirrels, birds, cats and dogs in the yard?
    The instructions aren't very detailed about how to use it safely around other animals.

    The Liquid Fence Granular Deer & Rabbit Repellent will be applied for repelling deer and rabbits. It will be safe if used as directed and when the other animals are not present for application.

    Does the Liquid Fence Granule Deer & Rabbit repellent work on chickens or will it harm them?
    A

    The Liquid Fence Granular Deer & Rabbit Repellent has not been tested on chickens so we are unsure if it would have an effect on them at all. It is possible the scents designed to deter deer and rabbits could irritate the chickens as well and make them want to stay out of that area.
