Little Giant Jar Metal Feeder Base is perfectly ideal for chicks. This feeder base is designed to be screwed on any standard Mason jars or specifically the Little Giant Plastic Screw-On Waterer Jar 1 qt. (Item No. 690, sold separately) in order to become a complete gravity feeder. Molded from heavy-gauge galvanized steel for many years of service under heavy-duty use. This feeder base is rounded with embossed edges to help reduce grazing on chicks' head and neck. It is also featured with eight (8) feeding holes and measures 6 inch in diameter by 2.50 inch high.
The base uses the Little Giant Plastic Screw-On Poultry Waterer Jar (690) (Sold Separately)

I'm not sure why people don't take the time to write a review it only takes a minute or two and helps other shoppers so much. We had been looking for these locally but no one was carrying them. All we could find were the very large plastic ones and they were expensive. I am so happy to find these and the bonus was free shipping!! Now I'm shopping around to see if I can get a bargin in some other items.
