    Q
Does the Luralite Pro Fly Light trap make a noise when trapping the fly?
    A

The Luralite Pro Fly Light and other light traps are not electric "zapper" traps that you might traditionally think of.  Although, they use a UV light to attract the fly, the light traps use a sticky glue board that the fly will stick to once it lands in the trap.  So there is no noise or attention brought to the light whatsoever.

    Q
Is there any chance of bad smells coming from dead flies when using the Luralite 405435FL Pro Fly Light?
    A
The Luralite 405435FL Pro Fly Light is not a "zapper" type of fly light so there should not be any smells with dead flies as they are adhered to a glueboard.

    Q
How often do the bulbs need to be replaced in the Luralite Pro Fly Light?
Do I change periodically or when burned out?
    A

The Luralite Pro Fly Light shows that the 15-watt 18" UV bulbs should be replaced every 6 months to be the most effective. For areas where fly pressure is only seasonal, you may change the bulbs annually in the Spring. UV lightbulbs will generally lose their efficacy before they burn out.

    Q
Are your light bulbs for the Luralite Pro Fly Light shatterproof for food manufacturing?
    A

The Luralite Pro Fly Light comes with standard non shatterproof bulbs in the box from the manufacturer. We do however carry the same 15 watt 18" bulbs in shatterproof form if you wish to purchase those, too, and swap them out for your needs in a food manufacturing area.
