M-1 Advanced Insecticide Paint Additive will help control flying and crawling insect pests. It is designed to be added to paint to effectively kill insect pests like American cockroach, spiders, ticks, mosquitoes, imported fire ants, leafcutter ants, silverfish, and more when they are exposed to treated surfaces. It can be mixed with latex coatings and oil-based coatings such as varnishes, stains and sealers. It features a low-odor and low VOC formula with an excellent freeze and thaw stability, plus it also helps reduce discoloration. It is EPA-registered so it is guaranteed safe to use for interior and exterior application. Each 1.68 oz. bottle treats 1 gallon.

Permitted areas of use include the food/feed and non-food/feed areas of: Aircraft (cargo area only), apartment buildings, bakeries, bottling facilities, breweries, buses, cafeterias, candy planyts, canneries, dairy product processing plants, food manufacturing plants, food processing plants, food service establishments, granaries and grain mills, hospitals, hotels, houses, industrial buildings, installations, kitchens, laboratories, mausoleums, meat, poultry and egg processing and packaging plants, mobile and motor homes, nursing homes, offices, railcars, restaurants, schools, ships and vessels, trailers, trucks warehouses, wineries.
Restrictions:
Pantry Pest Control: To kill adult and accessible stages of insect pests: Spiders, ticks, cockroaches and ants. Make application to cupboards, shelving and storage areas. Remove all foodstuffs, all untensils, shelf paper and other objects before coating with this product. Allow all treated surfaces to dry and cover shelves with clean paper prior to replacing foodstuffs, utensils or other items. Any foodstuff accidentally contaminated with any coating soultion should be discarded.
Crawling Insect Pests (such as Spiders, Ticks, Cockroaches, Mosquitoes, Imported and Southern Fire Ants, Leafcutter Ants and Silverfish): Apply M-1 Advanced Insecticide Paint Additive to localized areas of walls, ceilings and other resting areas such as a crack and crevice or spot treatment. M-1 Advanced Insecticide Paint Additive may be used inside residential buildings, as wekk as in and around carports, garages, storage sheds, unoccupied horse stables and pet kennels.
Pet Kennels: For residual control of crawling and flying insects in and around these structures, apply as cracks and crevices or spot treatment. Optimal control results if facilities to be treated are clean, and coated surfaces are cleaned regularly (every 21 days). Apply only to areas of facility where animals are not present. Allow coating to dry before allowing re-entry of animals into treated areas. Do not apply to animal feed or watering equipment.
Food/Feed Handling Establishments: For control of all labeled pests, applications are permitted in food/feed and non-food/feed areas of food/feed handling and processing establishments as spot or crack and crevice treatment.
Food/Feed handling establishments are defined as places other than private residences in which exposed food/feed is held, processed, prepared or served. Included also are areas for receiving, storing, packing (cannng, bottling, wrapping, boxing), preparing edible wate storage and enclosed processing systems (mills, dairies, edible oils, syrups) of fod/feed. Serving areas where food/feed is exposed and the facility is in operation are also considered food/feed areas.
Non-Food/Non-Feed Areas: Examples of non-food/non-feed areas include gardbage rooms, lavatories, floor drains (to sewers), entries and vestibules, offices, locker rooms, bolier rooms, mop closets and storage (after packaging, canning or bottling). All areas that insects inhabit or through which insects may enter should be treated.
Spot or Crack and Crevice Applications: Except in federally inspected meat and poultry plants, spot or crack and crevice applications may be made while the facility is in operation, provided exposed food is covered or removed from area being treated prior to application. Do not apply directly to food or food-handling surfaces. In the home, do not allow coating to contact food/feed surfaces. If it does, clean surfaces with soap and water. Apply treated latex coating with remote access application equipment.
Residual Application: Apply M-1 Advanced Insecticide Paint Additive to surfaces of buildings, porches, window frames, eaves, patios and garages, to control Spiders, Ticks, American and German Cockroaches, Silverfish, Imported and Southern Fire Ants and Leafcutter Ants.

Per the manufacturer, the active ingredient Deltamethrin in M-1 Advanced Insecticide Paint Additive can have a residual of 2 years against crawling and flying insects. The quality of the paint and weather elements may vary the residual but overall can last up to 2 years.
