MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
Using the enclosed scoop* (level full), add milk replacer powder to warm (110 degrees Fahrenheit) water according to the table below and mix thoroughly. For best mixing, sprinkle the powder onto the water and mix with a wire whisk.
Always mix milk replacer solution as needed for immediate feeding.
Calf: 10 Scoops (Level, 2 quarts (64 fl. oz.) of water.
Lamb: 4 Scoops, 1 pint (16 fl oz) of water.
Goat Kid: 2 Scoops, 1 pint (16 fl oz) of water.
Foal: 4 Scoops, 1 quart (32 fl oz) of water.
Baby Pig: 4 Scoops, 1 pint (16 fl oz) of water.
Llama or Alpaca Cria: 1/2 Scoops, 1 cup (8 fl oz) of water.
Fawn or Elk Calf: 6 Scoops, 1 pint (16 fl oz) of water.
*The enclosed scoop (level full) holds about 1 oz. of milk replacer powder by weight. Periodically weigh a filled scoop to assure accuracy.
FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:
The table below gives typical amounts to feed, based on age. Individual animals vary in requirements and appetite. Adjust the feeding rate accordingly, being careful not to overfeed milk replacer.
GENERAL CARE RECOMENDATIONS:
Feed colostrum the first day. Ensure that one colostrum feeding occurs within two hours of birth. If maternal colostrum is not available, use Manna Pro Colostrum Supplement. Begin feeding a starter feed in the first or second week. Sprinkle a little NurseAll powder on the starter feed to get animals nibbling. Maintain a regular feeding schedule.
