Thoroughly wet the animal by dipping, sponging or spraying. Allow animal to dry in a warm place without rinsing or toweling. Do not reapply product for two to three weeks. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals on medication.

Martins Permethrin 10% cannot be used on humans or in residential areas to control scabies mites. Scabies mites live only on/in the skin and we do not carry anything to treat humans. Treating the home is not needed with this particular pest as they do not live long off their host. Most folks need to visit their doctor to receive the medication needed to get rid of scabies. You may spray your furniture with a product such as Steri-fab to kill anything on furniture, though treating the home for scabies is usually not necessary.
When using the Martins Permethrin 10% on goats for lice, you would dilute 8 fl oz in 50 gallons of water. Spray to thoroughly cover the entire animal. For lice a second treatment is recommended 14-21 days later per the product label.

SPOT TREATMENT - LOW PRESSURE SPRAY Apply 1/2 oz. per ear or 2-4 oz. on face or 12-16 oz. along the backline.
Martins Permethrin 10% is NOT labeled for bedbugs. Please look at our Bed Bug Kits for all the necessary products to do a full treatment for bed bugs. It is recommended after you see evidence bed bugs are in your home that you treat completely to prevent further infestations. Bed Bugs can lay go up to 18 months without eating making it very likely for them to reappear.

Martins Permethrin 10% will not harm cats if they are kept out of the treated area during application and until everything is thoroughly dry. Rain or dew will not reactivate the product making it harmful after it has dried.
Martins Permethrin 10% is labeled for cockroaches, and will kill any roaches that come into contact with a treated area. Keep in mind that roaches are a difficult pest to treat and usually the use of more than one type of product is necessary to completely eradicate them.
