    Can Martins Permethrin 10? used on cattle? How much?
    A

    Yes! Martins Permethrin 10% would be mixed with water only and applied at the following rates and instructions on cattle:

    Dilute 8 ozs. in 50 gals. water 
    Dilute 1 pt in 100 gals. water 
    Dilute 1 qt. in 200 gals. water 
    Dilute 2 ozs. in 1 gal. water 
    Dilute 1 pt. in 8 gals. water 

    Spray to thoroughly cover entire animal. For lice or mites, a second treatment is recommended 14-21 days later. Spray lactating dairy cows only after milking is completed. SPOT TREATMENT - LOW-PRESSURE SPRAY Apply 1/2 oz. per ear or 2-4 oz. on the face or 12-16 oz. along the backline.

    For dogs how much Permethrin 10% to use in a 32 ounce spray bottle?
    A

    Per the product label: Dilute 8 ozs. in 12.5 gals. of water.  This would breakdown to a vary small amount per gallon (0.005 oz/gal) and even smaller for a quart sprayer so would not be recommended. 

    Thoroughly wet the animal by dipping, sponging or spraying. Allow animal to dry in a warm place without rinsing or toweling. Do not reapply product for two to three weeks. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals on medication.

    Martins Permethrin 10% is safe to apply to adult livestock per the product label instructions. "For a pig, you would mix 8 oz to 25 gallons of water and apply a pint per pig (sponged on avoiding ears) for listed insect control". Thoroughly wet the animal by dipping, sponging or spraying.Allow animal to dry in a warm place without rinsing or toweling Do not reapply product for two to three weeks. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals.     How much Martins Permethrin 10% do I use to treat my yard for ticks?
    A

    Per the product label, thoroughly wet down grass a few hours prior to applying Martins Permethrin 10%. Home lawns should be not more than 3 inches tall at the time of application. For ticks, use 1.5 oz in 10 gallons of water to cover 1,000 sq ft. For heavy infestations repeat application in 2 weeks.

    How long do I wait before bathing my dog after using Martins Permethrin 10%?

    You would need to reapply Martins Permethrin 10% after bathing your dog. Per the product Label , Martins Permethrin 10% can be applied every 3 weeks as needed.Discontinue use and wash your pet with mild soap and plenty of water if your pet shows any signs of sensitivity to this product.

    Can Martins Permethrin 10% work to kill bugs on my potatoes in the garden?

    Martin's Permethrin 10% is not labeled to be applied to edible gardens. The Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew states that for potato bugs you can reapply every 7 days as needed or until the bugs are gone.

    The label for using Martins Permethrin 10% for mosquitoes outdoors reads 11 1/2 oz per quart of water. Is that correct?

    Per the Martins Permethrin 10%  product label: Use 1 1/2 fl. oz. in 1 quart of water, treating 400 linear feet with a 6-inch spray band.

    Can I use Martins Permethrin 10% flea dip to rid myself of scabies?

    Martins Permethrin 10% should NOT be applied to your skin for the treatment of scabies. We do not carry a product that can be safely applied to humans for eradicating scabies. Please see a physician that can prescribe a product that is safe for this type of treatment.

    How long will Martins Permethrin 10% be effective when sprayed for spiders?
    I sprayed under my house for spiders and was wondering how long its effectiveness will last?

    Martins Permethrin 10% will likely last up to about 30 days in optimum conditions. If you would like a longer lasting insecticide, we would recommend an encapsulated product such as Cyzmic CS. In a crawl space, you could also use an insecticide dust such as Delta Dust, which is a dry formulation that lasts about six months.

    Will Martins Permethrin 10% kill bees?
    A

    Martins Permethrin 10% is toxic to bees if they land on the treated area while wet or after it has dried. You should not apply this product in areas where bees or other pollinators are actively foraging.

    For Martins Permethrin 10%, how frequently can/should you use on dogs?
    For lawns, why wet the grass first?
    A

    Martins Permethrin 10%  should not be applied to cats. This product is extremely toxic to them. For dogs, Martins Permethrin 10% can be reapplied every 2-3 weeks. It is recommended that you wet the ground before applying the product to increase the effectiveness.

    How do you remove Martins' Permethrin 10% after you spray a hog that is going to market in 3 days?

    The Martins Permethrin 10% label states that you cannot ship swine for slaughter within 5 days of the last treatment.  You should contact the manufacturer at 281-892-2500 for further information.

    Martins Permethrin 10% can be used around windows, doors, and around the perimeter of your home indoors and outdoors. We would not recommend spraying the product directly on the screen.
