Fire ants are pretty normal where we live, but recently we've had a ton of rain and new mounds were sprouting up all over the property. My kids and I could barely walk around without watching every step. We've tried other products before, with no luck. This stuff works! I applied it in the early afternoon after purchasing it locally, and when I went to lock up the chicken coop at sunset, there were piles of dead ants on the mounds. I was curious, so I used a stick to poke and tap the different mounds that had been treated, and very few ants responded! This stuff is like a miracle, and I will definitely use it again if needed. My only complaint is the smell! I could smell the unopened, sealed container in a tied grocery bag. I wore a mask while applying it to the mounds, and I still was gagging, lol. I'll be storing it in the shed for sure.

Live in Florida and have had trouble killing fire ants with big store remedies. This works but it has a strong sewer odor when opening the can. Ok with me because it works.

Seems to work better than some others at big box stores,ie: Bayer and Ortho. The fire ants here in central Florida seem to be immune to treatment. The Martins sees to take care of them without chasing mounds all over yard. Some have mentioned it has strong odor.....I have found it to minor issue......

We live in the country and have had continuing problems with fire ant mounds. Martin's Surrender is a great product that makes those mounds disappear within about 24 hours. Thank you for making such a great product.

I have had a lot of issues with ants over the years here in SC. I am continually spreading bait and spraying. When I saw the Martins Surrender I had to give it a try. Absolutely impressive. The mounds I treated were done overnight. I will be getting more for when the mounds pop up. Be careful of the smell though. It does have a very strong odor so keep the can down wind. Use it. You will not regret it.

I recently did some research through the DoMyOwn website regarding my fire ant infestation issue that has been irritating me for a few years now. DoMyOwn had an instruction video regarding fire ants in Texas. The video post was the Texas 2 Step, applying Extinguish fire ant bait to deliver poison to the nest and eventually the queen. I applied the Extinguish pellets in a wide circumference from the visible nest. I waited about 2 hours to let the fire ants deliver some of the poison to the nest before I applied this Martins Surrender. Wow!! In no time at all, fire ants were nonexistent and I kept a repeat check on the areas where both Extinguish and Martins were applied. I am genuinely pleased with both performances of each product. I have been disappointed by previous products I have purchased from big box stores in the past. I believe Martins Surrender is the best out there to eliminate the fire ants. I have to agree though, diatomaceous earth products can help eliminate fire ants as well but in my opinion Martins Surrender really knocks em' dead. Try it, especially with the Extinguish Ant Bait. I was not disappointed and neither will you----- If applied according to the label instructions.. My review is honest without any compensation for writing this review. Good luck.

Very effective at destroying a fire ant mound. one teaspoon and that is it dead and done.

Product works great sprinkled some of it at night ,checked on it the next night I think I saw one twitching right outside the hole and haven't seen any since.

Thank you so much for your good customer service. I called to put my order in on Friday Night and I receive a a email on Saturday morning saying that my order had been processed and Out for delivery within 2 business days, as Monday was being Memorial Day. This I ordered for my aunt in Pensacola, Fl. She used it and was very happy, Ants are gone!! Yes!! Thank you again as I said great customer service!

This is the first product that has actually killed the ant hills.

Normally when I use an ant product they seem to just move 10 feet and establish to ant bed. With this product if it didn't kill them at least they moved to another yard. Very pleased with this product.

Fire ant killer at best is not good! It produces a "whack a mole" response. Kill the nest means it will multiply nests in new locations. This product is superior in that it achieves this goal with minimal waste in reapplication.

Anticipate the product will be as good as the service and delivery. Have used the product under a different label. Always have gotten excellent service from DoMyOwn pest control
