This stuff is incredible! We bought both kinds the Maxforce Fleet Ant Bait Gel & the Advanced Carpenter Ant Bait just in case the ants had an appetite for sweet & or savory, plus that's what most of the reviewers recommended you do so that's what we did. We also bought the 2 sided plastic bait stations, so you can place both kinds of bait into one station, & the stations are very safe just in case you have curious pets. I kid you not; the day we received the bait we filled the stations with both kinds of bait, the Gel on one side & the Advanced Carpenter Ant Bait on the other. We placed the stations in strategic locations around the house where we noticed the Ants coming in & out, mostly at our back door where we keep our trash can & the stations were full the next day. We replaced the stations that were full of ants or were low on bait & within a week we had no more ants. I did notice that most of the ants did gravitate more toward the Maxforce Gel side of the station as opposed to the other side, but both were being utilized by the ants. Amazing stuff, a little goes a long way, the bait containers are large so I can't imagine having to replace them often, but when I do replace them I will definitely return to DOMYOWN. COM. I'm pretty sure shipping was free &it was quick I'm certain it was within 4 days. The products was packaged safely & securely, no leaks or open packages & I'm only speculating that both baits was within the expiration period I couldn't find an expiration date on either package. I haven't had to connect with Customer Service as of yet so I can't say anything about that portion of this amazing company but I really can't imagine anything negative...! I will 100% return to this company for all my pest control needs...!!!

Max force was terrific in eliminating our carpenter ant problem. From the first application the ants covered the gel and took it back to their nest. After another application more came and after about 3 days there were no more ants. We would buy this product again. We still have some left.

This is the best stuff for ants...seriously. We have a huge problem every years in Los Angeles. A few dabs of this on the ant trails, they're usually gone in a few hours and they don't return. Been using it for years and I hope they don't try to "improve" it.

I found the trail of ants into the house and put some gel at the entry point into a narrow space at the bottom of a corner board. Immediately, ants were in the gel. The gel kept disappearing and I kept reapplying, thinking it was drying up. After three days, the application stopped drying up. That's when I realized it wasn't drying up but it was being carried off to the colony. No more ants. Only used 1/3 of one tube.

As someone commented; Carpenter ants seem not to be attracted to the gel. To be honest I never saw one baiting it, but suddenly in the next three or less days after the first application they start showing dead all around.

I used to work for the big expensive pest control company and when I had an invasion of ants, I tried to go the cheap route with store bought versions. After seeing no difference and no change in Ant behaviour, I decided to go back to my roots. We had ants in our bathroom and kitchen, which are separated by a floor and across the house from each other. Well, I put this out in our kitchen where I saw the ant trail and day 1 was when they found it and told the rest of the colony, day 2 was a greatly diminished population, day 3 was all quiet on the western front. Two weeks later all the ants that were hatching from the first wave of the colony came out. I laid down a new batch of bait and the same pattern, by day 3 the war was over. This was a reminder to one who did this professionally to go with the modern professional technology, not on the cheap with store bought, possibly stale baits.

I applied several tubes to the circumference of our large oak tree which was teaming with large black carpenter ants. I no longer see any evidence of them and will be applying Maxforce to other oak trees to slow down their demise by these ants.

This product didn't work at all for my pharoah ant problem. They went crazy over Antvion and couldn't get enough of it. Maxforce, not so much; they just skirted around it.

I have battled a colony of carpenter ants for TWO YEARS. I tried every product and tactic imaginable. Each time, the numbers would decline but they’d bounce right back within a few weeks. Often, I’d find dead ants all over the house (an indication a product is working too fast to kill the queen). I was losing my mind. I was like Billy Murray in Caddyshack. When I applied this gel, they feasted on it like an all-you-can-eat buffet. They invited their friends and family to join (I had seen this before, I wasn’t about to celebrate). But within 10 days, I saw a significant decline in ant activity. No carcasses all over the house, just an absence of ants. Now, one month later, I am ant-free and there is no activity near the colony (they had hollowed out the trunk of an otherwise healthy tree in my front yard). This product saved my tree, my house, and my sanity.

First time user for HUGE ant problem in kitchen which has been going on for years! Used other products to control but they didnt work. I injected 1 tube into molding on 5/20/20, sealed up 2 holes and NO ants since!!!! Amazing! I have 3 tubes left for the next time! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

It's an old apartment. I moved in years ago, and the roaches had already taken over. Little guys, less gross than the big ones but not in these numbers. There was no getting rid of them (diatomaceous earth? didn't work at all, etc etc). Then after a few years of living like this (yikes), my roommate got this stuff, and they basically disappeared overnight. When we start to see one or two every 6 mo or so, we apply a little more in the back of the cabinet and they're gone.

We had large black carpenter ants throughout the house and even on our 30 ft high balcony porch and I don't mean one or two. I placed the little drops of the bait as directed throughout the house and porch are you also used advance carpenter ant bait and it was amazing within days they dwindled and then none. Couple months later I did call and arranged and exterminator for quarterly visits and I showed him the bait I used and he said it was the same that he used and said I did a really great job.

The carpenter ants love this stuff. I put it in key spots but also in the evening look around to see if I see ants heading to and from the house. Then I put small blobs right in their route-- it is great to see them gather around and eat the stuff up, then go on their way to bring it to the colony. This is the surest way I know of to truly kill a colony-- when I do this within 7-10 days there will be NO ANT ACTION whatsoever.

I had a carpenter ant infestation in my house. Thousands of these ants were marching down my fence in both directions and entering my house through a void somewhere. I decided to purchase this product and when I got it I immediately started using it. I applied this product to five or six q-tips so that I could hold the q-tip while I applied the product to the other end of the q-tip. I set the q-tips out in the path of where I was seeing the carpenter ants travel. I also put bait outside of my house at night where I thought that they were entering. I only used small dabs along my fence in both directions at night when they were foraging for food so that the worker ants could get it and take it back to the nest in order to kill the queen and the colony. I had my doubts that this product would work but lo and behold it wiped the colony completely out. I mean I was seeing thousands and thousands of ants bee lining to my house befor I had this product. The key is to be patient and let this product do its work over the course of 3 to 7 days. Thank you Max Force for totally eradicating my carpenter ant problem. This product is amazing for anyone who has a carpenter ant infestation and can be patient allowing the bait to do its work. You will know that debate is working when the ants inside of your house start to slow down and look lethargic. Then you will notice that they start to die and as they are dying they start to move in very small half inch circles because the poison is affecting them.

I put this down along the trail of carpenter ants into my home. They won't touch the stuff. It's like they know it is going to hurt them. They try hard to avoid it.

That can happen as ants are not always looking for a sugar/carb protein. Maxforce Fleet Ant Bait Gel is highly appealing to sweet feeding ants. It is highly recommended to also use Advion Insect Granular Bait Insecticide or Maxforce Complete Granular Bait which are protein baits. You should always give ants a choice as they may be in the mood for either a protein (granule) or a sugar (gel) bait. Using Bait Plate Stations with your baits is an easy way to offer two different baits at one time.

Living in Florida I see plenty of ants and typically as long as they outside of my house I have tended to let them be. However, when they begin to enter the house, we go to war. Recently I had begun to see many more on the outside near my patio and after two rainy days I found about a dozen Carpenter ant bodies one morning near a night light and knew it was time to get serious with this problem. I ordered a couple products from Do My Own and the first one I used was the Maxforce Fleet Ant Bait Gel. This product within a few minutes of applying outside of the house was like a magnet for several different types of ants. Within a couple of days, I noticed considerably less ants outside and withing four days there was no longer any showing up inside and my patios and walkways no longer have trails of ants moving about. I have treated many areas with this gel and I'm happy to say ant free and life is good again!

I have wooden large statues of grizzley bears, black bears , wolf etc in my yard. I initially put down a granular product and the ants disappeared. Two weeks later they were back. There is a lot of sawdust from them gutting them from the insides out. We are talking 5-6 ft statues that are anywhere up to 18 inches thick. GUTTED. The Maxforce Fleet arrived and I put some on the stump one was on. I walked around the Grizzley putting little dabs of gue where the rain wouldn't wash it away. I put a little in the crack going down his back. By the time I made a full circle the ants were busy eatting it. The ants came from inside the crack and from the outside and loved it. There were several Piles of black and red ants on the ground at all animals. I then used the Maxforce granular around the base. When I say my animals are gutted from the inside I mean the whole interior. My thought is that these ants gobbled up the Maxforce Fleet but did they die before they fed the larve or the Queen? Who knows.

Something about this bait immediately had ants feeding off it and sure enough, after awhile you can see them disoriented until they died. Definitely use this in cracks and gaps to "seal" their movement and watch your ant issues go away almost instantly.
