Customer Reviews for Maxforce Fly Spot Bait

I use this product in my horse barn and found it to work fairly well, however the Maxforce granular bait that comes in a pail works much better for the tremendous amount of flies that visit a horse barn. I found that it works better if the bait is moist so I put it on a pile of manure in the morning and by the end of the day there were alot of dead flies. It works better than any other fly product I've tried. I would recommend this product, especially to horse owners, and we know flies!

It works but I guess I was expecting flies to be everywhere like other reviews. Flies do die quickly. It does leave a white residue on your concrete and deck.

In Virginia, flies actually seem to avoid it. The only way to kill one with this is to actually spray it directly on the fly. At first I thought this made it a worthless product. Now it occurs to me I'm going to try to use it as fly repellent, and see how that works

I purchased a 2oz packet from a different online vendor first and sprayed it on the side of my house. There were flies all over it so I thought this works great. I bought the 16 oz version from DoMyOwn because they had the best price. I carefully mixed the solution and used the spray bottle that was included with my order (this was a nice surprise). But when I sprayed this time it hardly ever attracts any flies. When it does they do die pretty quickly but it just does not seem to attract them like the original test. Yes I still have flies they are flying around everywhere just not on the bait. Maybe this stuff was old, maybe they changed the formula. I just know that it did not work as well as my initial test.

The spot bait worked well it certainly did help no I didn't see flies die in 60 Seconds. I think the trash can was better bait then where I sprayed the the spot bait. If it attracted flies better and then did kill them in 60 Seconds it would be the best five stars. I will be buying more products from this company if they work that good.

The bait it self is affected but it just not attracted the fly’s

Have not seen as many flys, but product was two years old and caked together. So at this point I am still on the fence.
