Maxforce Refillable Buffet Station is a great addition to the other Maxforce bait products. The baits by themselves can make quite a mess and if left out in the open, can lose potency. The Maxforce Refillable Buffet Station eliminates that completely. It will protect from the elements and will eliminate bait absorption into porous surfaces. These stations are great for outdoor and indoor use for cockroaches and ants and are easy to inspect and fill. Made of durable and 100% recycled plastic, each station contains 4 reservoirs for the bait to be placed in. The input ramp is even large enough to allow large cockroaches to enter. The bridge inside will allow ants to easily travel around the station.
A great feature includes a space on the station where you can promote your business by inserting a snap in card measuring 36 x 67 mm. This unique bait station is the solution to being able to place different baits into just one station, allowing unique treatments custom to the pest problems. Recommend INDOOR USE ONLY...

I can't really give this item a poor rating. Why? Well, because I believe that if the prey were larger and more aggressive, these stations will work wonders. Well, that is, if you plan to use them outdoors. Now, for indoor use only, these things have real potential. And the fact that they are refillable keeps cost down. So, I recommend that you use them indoors only for the best results because there are too many variables (such as weather, and animal/pedestrian traffic) that can interfere with their performance out-of-doors.

What's your bait??

These “Make Your Own” bait stations can be trailered for ants or roaches...depending on what you use...or both!! Make your own bait matrix..I use borax or boric acid toxicants mixing these with various baits. Mixing and matching honey/powdered sugar/peanut butter/syrup/others..and/or using granular baits sling with a mixed bait. There are four reservoirs molded into these “Refillable” bait stations..just flip the top open and squeeze some ant or roach gel and your bait...see what the critters want!! I have found using boric acid latched baits...such as peanut butter...that same bait will attract roaches and ants effectively. For ants of course..search for where the ants are entering if possible and place these stations there and take a cloth sprayed with Windex or soapy washcloth and wipe the pheromone trail away forcing the ants to cluster around the bait station/s... for roaches..it doesn't matter..just place in areas roaches are spotted. I appreciate Do My Own stocking a excellent assortment of insecticides and implements and the shipping cost included in the price. I am a one man show pest control operator so my chemical needs can vary...so I kind of order when I need it type basis. But DMO prices are great...sometimes you do need to plan ahead since sometimes the product is shipped out of Georgia...I'm on the westcoast but even still...shipping time is usually spot on. Great product these refillable DIY bait stations.

My objective is to kill roaches and ants before they get inside the house.
When using the Maxforce Refillable Buffet Stations, it would depend on the product you are using inside of them how far apart you would place them. For instance, if you are using the Maxforce Complete Granular Bait that would cover both roaches and ants you use it at a rate of .5 oz (one tablespoon) of bait per 25 linear feet to get the best coverage. Other baits would have different usage rates, and you would need to refer to the label in each of those products to get that specific usage rate.

You can clean refillable bait stations such as the Maxforce Refillable Buffet Stations with warm water. You could perhaps use a very mild soap if needed, but we do not recommend using anything fragranced on bait stations since that fragrance could linger and interfere with the palatability of any bait used inside the stations.
