I used this for the first time last year and this spring was the first time that I did not have any grub damage in years. I will be using it again this summer. So long grubs!

After applying another brand of grub killer I discovered that the grubs in my lawn we're alive and well. I purchased a bag of merit put it on my lawn and within a week the grubs were dead.

Fast shipping, DoMyOwnPestControl were very helpful in getting the correct product for my lawn. I was going to order something different and the lady I spoke to set me straight and told me I only needed Merit, and to spread in June. Great company will do business with them again.

Really great product....I order this from DMOPC for my yard...I have over 25000 sq. ft. of lawn so the pricing is important and also the bulk bag. I used to mix it and spray it on for HOURS....This is definitely a time saver. Not only is the product excellent...but the price of the product and the shipping cannot be beat anywhere....I will be back next year.

I'm not able to give any review on the merit granules as of this fall. only will know come next summer if I see any results. I am concerned though, I followed instructions. spread before a rain or watering. well we got the rain, but then it rained off and on for 2/3 days and acquired 3/4 inches. said not to spread on saturated ground. well it wasn't when I spread but sure was the following couple days and nites. now I not know if I wasted $63. so now I guess its a waiting game till summer for good or bad results.

Merit is the most cost effective way to deal with white grubs. DoMyOwn has the best prices and the best service for this product on the net.

Applied to a one acre lawn to supplement the lawn service company's application annual grub application of Merit. I dusted off the applicator from the barn and set the dial to the Merit requirement. The granules spread easily and did not clog the express cylinder. I now will do this myself annually before the grubs hatch from the ground with a cost saving of more than half. Merit dramatically reduces brown patches on the lawn where the grubs feed on the grass roots. It also eliminates crickets and a few other small annoying insects. This is a very effective product and my lawn is thicker and lush because of the annual application.

I applied hoping to cure my problem with moles tearing up the lawn. Every fall I have had this problem until I applied Merit 0.5. I'm assuming Merit took care of the grubs and the moles moved elsewhere....

Yard was overrun with moles. This killed their food source, and they are all gone... Moved on to other greener pastures, so to speak.

Using Merit to control my Iris borers. Have used it for one year now, and the borers are very few and far between. After another year I am hoping for complete control, and No more borers. Maybe that's too much to ask, but this stuff is making great inroads into my infestations. ALSO...your customer service and speedy delivery are WONDERFUL ! Thank you.

I notice bare patches in my yard and on closer inspection I found three grubs within a 1200 sq ft area need no more investigation I looked on DO My Own. com. I purchased Merit it arrive in the mail two days latter spread it down following the directions watered it in and after about a week no more grubs and the lawn is returning to be healthy in the spots that were looking bare.

This is our second year purchase of Merit because we missed a corner of the yard last summer. We are treating 2 1/2 acres and before last summer, we had a significant infestation of grubs and moles. It is very obvious where we applied the Merit and where we missed. Over all the lawn is grub free except a small patch far from the house and near the road. Follow the directions for your location and it does work like a charm.

My dad and I have spent a lot of money in the past 2yrs trying to maintain the empire zoysia we both have in our houses. We kept buying different insecticide products to make sure it will kill grubs, mole crickets and more, but we were not satisfied with the outcome, the grass did not look good, did not look healthy. At one point even though I use those insecticide products, in an specific location by the front windows like an 8 x 10 area I flooded the soil with water and I removed about 150 mole crickets. The water blocked their tunnels so they came out to the surface to get air. I could not believe what I was seeing, so someone told me to find a granular product with the word "SYSTEMIC" and I found MERIT 0.5 GRANULAR. My first treatment with MERIT granules was in September 2021, then towards the end of January 2022 I purchased another 30 pound bag. I have NEVER seen the empire zoysia SO GREEN and SO HEALTHY. This product REALLY works, highly recommend. You need to kill the grubs, mole crickets and all the insects on your lawn so when you apply fertilizer, it will absorb the nutrients. Grass without ROOT WILL NOT absorb anything so your grass will look ugly. Thanks

Following the instructions, I laid down this product a few hours before it started to rain. Over the next two weeks, I observed dozens of grubs coming up to the surface and dying. It worked quickly and did not harm my bermuda grass.

Ever since I started using Merit 0.5, my mole problem has been eliminated. It definitely does the job in getting rid of mole crickets and grubs, the moles' favorite diet.

Last year I used Merit on my lawn and had minimal mole damage. I didn't treat my berm's and moles dug burrows all over them searching for Grubbs to eat. When planting this spring, I noticed a lot of grubs in my berms. I sprinkled Merit over all of my berms and now, when planting, I've come across zero grubs. Next week I will apply it on my lawn. I will NEVER go through spring without applying Merit 0.5 G insecticide granules.

I've tried many grub control products over the years, and Merit 0.5G is head-and-shoulders more effective than any of the others. It's hard to find locally -- in my area, I have to web order it -- but it's worth the trouble. Considering other vendors' shipping charges, DoMyOwn offers the most competitive price.
