Effective Product
By Gary on 06/12/2014
I used Merit 2F to control white grubs in 3+ acres of lawn turf. While my lawn area is a mixture of grass types the grubs were always a pest and hard to control from year to year. Merit 2F had very quick kill results and looks to have long lasting effective control.

Easy treatment, long term cure
By Joe on 07/10/2015
I just treated my lawn with Merit 2 F. The treatment is intended to prevent lawn pest damage over the period of a year, so one should not expect visible overnight results. I have great confidence in Merit 2 F from the results I have gotten using premixed products containing Merit. The benefit of Merit 2 F is the cost savings realized by mixing only the amount you need for your application. The only improvement I would suggest in the directions for mixing is to include accurate instructions for making smaller quantities, even though it is a simple math calculation.

Re: Best investment
By Rob on 11/29/2016
I use Merit bc the pros use this same product. After finding out that I could purchase the same products the lawn pros used, I tried it out and had excellent success. I've used other chain-store products, but only Merit delivers the killer ingredient needed to get rid of grubs and other lawn eating insects.

Great product
By Rob on 03/24/2016
I tried purchasing a similar product from my local landscape supplier, but it did not work like Merit. You can truly see the difference in the green grass that Merit allows you to have. Read the instructions to use the proper amount

Saved My Hemlocks
By Stephen on 08/14/2016
I drench-treated several beloved hemlocks newly infested with wooly adelgid two years ago. Wiped it completely out. They're gorgeous again. Also cleared up something wrecking my hollies. Miraculous stuff. So much more economical than the watered-down retail versions.

Merit 2F doing very well
By Justin on 04/28/2017
So far so good with the Merit 2F - the product I was sent had been recently manufactured, which I was very pleased to see (there is a manufactured date stamped on it). I am fighting rose midge, and it seems to be knocking it down. With regular soil drench applications, I am hoping to eliminate the determined little sucker!!!

No more Crane Flys or Dripping Sap
By Jeff on 06/24/2022
Crane flys do NOT eat mosquitos. The larvae eat your turf! Rid yourself of these pests with Merit! Got dripping sap from Crap Myrtles, Oaks, Shrubs…? Perhaps they are responding to aphids. Prevent the aphids with soil injections or soil drenches. But do so before they flower so as to not harm bees. But as always, read the label first. Qualifier: I'm a California certified sole spray tech for 40+ parks.

Great Value!
By Grant on 05/10/2024
It’s a systemic…apply before rain or water in. Says Pet/people safe when dry. Personally for safety, let it get washed in. Just me! Use your PPE. One (1) gallon for $119, really low dose! (0.2-0.6 fl oz in 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq ft). Gave a small amount to a neighbor for his front/back yard, What do I owe you? $3.00 Buy a bag of Merit granules in a hardware store, What would you pay? Lasts ~10-12 months like fipronil for ants. I use both in combination. Storage life ~5+ years under good conditions. Why did I buy this? Laid some new Amerishade St Augustine Sod in my front before the rains, started seeing June Bugs in April in my pool and on cement surfaces… imported with the sod. One spray they are gone! Fast, effective, even on new sod no harm. me
