Microcare 3% CS Controlled Release Pyrethrins offers 7 to 14-day residual control, Microcare 3% CS is perfect when you want the soft appeal of pyrethrum and need the residual of a microcap. Microcare 3% CS features SmartCap Microencapsulation Technology that disperses an effective barrier of insect-killing pyrethrum capsules over the application area for increased pest exposure and residual. Exclusive SmartCap Technology creates a shell around the active ingredient (a.i.) that increases residual control by protecting it from ultraviolet rays, weather, porous and greasy surfaces, and absorption into soil or organic matter. It also acts as a barrier to diminish exposure to humans and pets while reducing plant phytotoxicity and staining. Through this technology, we are able to construct tiny, mobile lethal doses of the a.i. that can attach to and move with insects. Hose-end Sprayers
Dilute, as desired, according to the dilution table or specific directions for use. Shake the sprayer to disperse the product and occasionally shake during use to maintain dispersion.
Compressed Air Sprayers
For surface applications, apply as a coarse, wet spray at the rate of 1-gallon diluted product per 1,000 square feet of the surface. For crack and crevice applications, inject product at the rate of 1 second per foot. In long-running cracks, move the injector tip at the rate of 1 second per foot.
Void/Crack and Crevice Application
To treat insects harboring in voids and in cracks and crevices, use equipment designed for void applications. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for proper equipment setup and operating pressures. Place the tip of the applicator at or into the crack, crevice or void to be treated. Apply product in short bursts while keeping the tip in position. Allow the air stream to push insecticide deep into voids. Apply in such a manner to limit dripping and runoff on structural surfaces and plants.

Microcare 3% is noticeably longer lasting than regular spray (Permethrin SFR). Works well in a difficult environment with lots of bug hiding places, maybe because there is more time for them to come in contact with it in their travels. The product does clump but it has not clogged the sprayer.

If the active ingredient is pyrethrin, isn't this a natural based version of pyrethrum? Also, does the PBO break down quickly in sunlight?

Can this product be mixed with latex and oil based stain products ? In what ratio ?
No, Microcare 3% CS Controlled Release Pyrethrin is not labeled for use inside of a fogger. You can browse our Fogging Concentrates here.
I was reading the other question and the answer was that it was the only pyrethrin not labeled as natural when as far as I can see its the most natural I've seen. The others are a synthetic toxic version. Am I mistaken about your product?
Microcare 3% CS Controlled Release Pyrethrines is the only microencapsulated pyrethrum available, but it is not all natural because it has PBO added in it. It is designed as a contact product with residual activity for sensitive environments and customers. It has a CAUTION label with a favorable toxicity profile.
